Kiefer Sutherland charged with DUI

Kiefer Sutherland, already on probation for a 2004 drunken driving arrest, was charged Friday with misdemeanor driving under the influence in a case the city attorney's office said could put him in jail for more than a year.

The star of the Fox TV drama "24" was charged with single counts of driving under the influence and driving with a blood-alcohol level of .08 or above, said city attorney spokesman Nick Velasquez. If convicted, he faces a maximum sentence of a year in jail and a minimum of four days, Velasquez said.

"We also charged him with a second DUI offense within 10 years, which we believe also violates the terms of his probation," Velasquez added.

If found guilty of violating probation, Sutherland could be sentenced to an additional six months.

Sutherland publicist Evelyn Karamanos didn't immediately return a call for comment.

The 40-year-old actor, who was arrested Tuesday, remains free on $25,000 bail. He was scheduled to be arraigned Oct. 16.

Because he's been charged with a misdemeanor, Sutherland won't have appear in court for his arraignment unless the judge specifically orders him to be there, Velasquez said.

Police have said they stopped Sutherland shortly after 1 a.m. when they saw him make an illegal U-turn. He was arrested after failing a field sobriety test.

Authorities haven't disclosed his blood-alcohol level except to say it was .08 or above, exceeding California's legal limit.

Sutherland was pulled over shortly after leaving a Hollywood industry party at the trendy Area nightclub.

He was also arrested for DUI in 2004, and in November of that year he pleaded no contest to one misdemeanor count. He was sentenced to five years' probation, 50 hours of community service and was ordered to attend an alcohol treatment program.

City officials have said he completed the community service and treatment program but was still on probation.

He also has a 1993 conviction for alcohol-related reckless driving, according to the city attorney's office.

Sutherland won a best actor Emmy last year for his performance as dashing federal counter-terrorist agent Jack Bauer on "24."

Starting your own company

I always want to have my own company, maybe I should do some home work first, and today I come across a helpful service.

EastBiz.com has experience with incorporation business since 1996. They started as a general incorporation service setting up companies in different jurisdictions.

John Vanhara, Owner of EastBiz.com, Inc. moved to Nevada in 2001 and opened their first office in 2003. His goal was to focus on one jurisdiction and make the whole incorporation process as efficient as possible. They are locally based incorporator in Las Vegas and therefore they can keep the whole process under their control. Their current setup allows them to charge much less than competitors and still has a profitable business operation.

Their company is helping thousands of entrepreneurs each year to start their own business. They are not lawyers and don't charge high fees. All they do is to help with all the paperwork which might be complicated to people who are not familiar with starting businesses. They can set up corporation or LLC in any state.

Currently the most popular is Nevada corporation. Nevada is very business friendly state with no state income taxes.

Other very popular states are:
Texas incorporation
Florida incorporation
Arizona incorporation

Their company is based in Las Vegas. They also opened a new branch in Memphis, TN.

Not only they can help with all the paperwork, but they can also provide a space to start a business. They have a program for virtual offices and executive suites. You can basically use their office with free phones and internet. You can use their conference room. And it all starts at $45 per month. It’s great for start up companies.

Brand Identity Guru Branding Blog

Brand Identity Guru Branding Blog is a branding blog dedicated to policing brands, employees and the internet. It’s a fun, witty look at the good, bad and the ugly of branding.

Brand Identity Guru has been around for almost 2 decades. The blogger is called Scott White and he is the Chief Cook and Bottle Washer. He’s decided to throw his thoughts down on paper so to speak and talk about the real life branding experiences I have. Some are good, some not so good. But it’s his look at branding today. You can read how branding affects our daily lives.

Check out his personal bio here: Scott White

My advices to the blog:

1. Choose an independent and short domain. Now the domain is too long. Not easy to remember.

2. The home page is too long. It costs me half to one minute to get the whole home page loaded. 15 posts at home page is enough.

3. The introduce video of home page is not a good idea. I am listening music when I visit the blog, and the introduce video just comes up, not that comfortable. And the Internet speed becomes slow.

4. Maybe need a redesign. Add popular posts zone or some thing like that.

Anyway, the content about branding is very worth to reading. 

Nan Goldin Klara And Edda Belly Dancing Child Porn?

Police have seized photograph 'Klara And Edda Belly Dancing', which was taken by controversial, female American artist Nan Goldin, because it may be considered child pornography - and Elton John's personal website has reacted.

The photograph, which was part of exhibition series called 'Thanksgiving' from the Sir Elton John photographic collection, may have breached child pornography laws.

The exhibition gallery, which the picture did not appear in, as it was seized by police, warns: "We would like to advise you that this exhibition contains some material of a sensitive nature. It may include explicit language, nudity, sexual imagery or violence."

The photograph 'Klara And Edda Belly Dancing' of two young girls, taken by Goldin. One of the girls is depicted sitting on the ground with her legs spread wide apart. Further details of the picture are unknown.

Police removed the image from the Baltic Art Gallery the day before it was to be viewed by the public. The inappropriate photograph is currently being examined by police while Crown Prosecution Service lawyers have offered their consult.

Kiefer Sutherland Busted for DUI

"24" star Kiefer Sutherland wasn't trying to save the world when he made an illegal U-turn in the wee hours.

Instead, the Emmy-winning actor was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving on Tuesday, Sept. 25 in West Hollywood, reports TMZ.com. Earlier in the evening, he had attended the FOX Fall Eco-Casino party at Area nightclub.

The 40-year-old was pulled over at 1:35 a.m. on the corner of La Cienega and Beverly. A breathalyzer test showed that his blood alcohol level was above the legal .08 limit for California.

He was taken to the Hollywood Police station and booked for a misdemeanor DUI. He was released on $25,000 bail.

Sutherland is due in court on Oct. 16.

'24' Season 7, Tony Almeida (Carlos Bernard) is back!

FOX has set the premiere date for the upcoming season of "24" and announced the return of a beloved character previously left for dead.

Following the trend established over the past two years, "24" will launch its seventh day with a two-night premiere event. The season will kick-off on Sunday, Jan. 13 with two hours starting at 8 p.m. before settling into its regular time period with a new episode at 9 p.m. the following night.

From there, "24" will stay on Mondays at 9 p.m. airing original episodes into June.

While the premiere date is bound to be exciting for "24" fans, that's nothing compared to the first official confirmation of the return of Tony Almeida. The CTU veteran, played by Carlos Bernard, was one of Jack Bauer's main allies over the show's first four seasons, but the character -- initially revered for his prodigious soul-patch -- was left unceremoniously dead at the hands of a terror suspect in Day 5.

"Tony's uncertain fate near the end of 'Day 5' left the door open for his return," says executive producer/show-runner Howard Gordon. "And since there was no silent clock at the conclusion of his last appearance –- the 24 tribute to a major character's demise – we always kept this as a possibility."

Although Tony's fate didn't appear so uncertain at the time, fans have kept alive the hope of the character's eventual return. Producers admitted that one possible ending for the show's much-maligned sixth season featured Tony showing up as a cliffhanger.

Instead, FOX just says that Tony's arrival will coincide with the beginning of Jack's seventh day, which will move the show's action from Los Angeles to Washington, D.C.

Other new additions to the "24" cast this season include Cherry Jones, Janeane Garofalo and Colm Feore, plus Annie Wersching, Jeffrey Nordling, John Billingsley and Rhys Coiro.

Although CTU has been disbanded as the season begins, the characters played by Mary Lynn Rajskub and James Morrison will be back.

Dan Rather Files $70 Million Lawsuit Against CBS

NEW YORK (AP) — Dan Rather filed a $70 million lawsuit Wednesday against CBS, alleging that the network made him a "scapegoat" for a discredited story about President Bush's National Guard service.

The 75-year-old Rather, whose final months were clouded by controversy over the report, says the complaint stems from "CBS' intentional mishandling" of the aftermath of the story.

The lawsuit, filed in State Supreme Court in Manhattan, also names CBS President and CEO Leslie Moonves, Viacom Inc., Viacom Chairman Sumner Redstone and former CBS News President Andrew Heyward. (At the time Viacom Inc. owned CBS. But Viacom and CBS Corp. split into two different companies in January 2006.)

Rather, the former anchorman of the "CBS Evening News," is seeking $20 million in compensatory damages and $50 million in punitive damages.

CBS spokesman Dana McClintock said: "These complaints are old news, and this lawsuit is without merit."

Rather narrated the September 2004 report that claimed President Bush skirted some of his duties during his National Guard service and that a commander felt pressured to sugarcoat Bush's record. Rather maintains the story was true.

But an independent review for the network determined the story was neither fair nor accurate. CBS fired three news executives and a producer for airing it.

Richard Thornburgh — the former U.S. attorney general who made up the two-man investigative panel with Louis D. Boccardi, the retired chief executive of The Associated Press — said he was unaware of Rather's lawsuit.

Reached at his home in Washington, he said only: "Our report speaks for itself."

Boccardi was not immediately available for comment.

Issued in January 2005, the 224-page report portrayed Rather as "pushed to the limit" with other stories at the time of the "60 Minutes Wednesday" report. He relied on a trusted producer, and didn't check the story for accuracy or, apparently, even see it before he introduced it on the program, the panel said.

CBS rushed the story on the air and then blindly defended it when holes became apparent, said the panel, which was unable to say conclusively whether memos allegedly disparaging Bush's service were real or fake.

Rather, who couldn't immediately be reached for comment Wednesday, worked at CBS News starting in 1962, then replaced Walter Cronkite in 1981 as "CBS Evening News" anchorman until signing off March 9, 2005.

He always considered himself a reporter first, and the habit of news anchors to travel to the scenes of big stories is largely his legacy. His interview with Saddam Hussein in 2003 was the last given by the Iraqi leader before he was toppled.

With his intense on-air demeanor, Rather also had his detractors, and his broadcast was a distant third in the evening news ratings at the time he stepped down. CBS News' ratings rebounded under short-term successor Bob Schieffer, but they've plummeted under Katie Couric, who took over the broadcast in September 2006.

Prison Break's Start as Slow as Fox's

Los Angeles (E! Online) - So, when does American Idol start up again?

Fox may be asking itself that question after a rough start to its fall season. If it wasn't the Emmys sinking, or one of its new shows tanking, it was Prison Break's season premiere getting beat out by sitcom reruns.

Last things first: Prison Break. The drama's third-season opener on Monday night averaged an estimated 7.4 million viewers, preliminary Nielsen Media Research stats show. It was the series' least watched premiere, down nearly 2 million viewers from last fall's.

Previously viewed episodes of How I Met Your Mother (10.9 million) and The New Adventures of Old Christine (12.4 million) on CBS locked out Prison Break in the 8-9 p.m. hour.

Prison Break's numbers, as well as those from the rest of Monday night's shows, will be reflected in next week's Nielsen rankings.

To say that Nashville, the first new show of the 2007-08 season to make it to air, fared even worse than Prison Break doesn't say the half of it: It fared much, much, much worse.

The reality drama, from the production company behind Laguna Beach, made the least of its jump-start on the fall season by losing to the rerun of one show that doesn't replay especially well (NBC's Las Vegas—72nd place, 3.9 million) and to the rerun of another show that doesn't replay well at all (CBS' Jericho—89th place, 3 million).

Nashville averaged just 2.7 million viewers, 1 million fewer even than what Laguna Beach spinoff, The Hills, delivered to cable's MTV last week.

Perhaps the worst news of all for Nashville: It didn't merit a single positive adjective, much less a single complete sentence in Fox's weekly ratings recap. Such silence is typically deadly.

Nashville is part of Fox's all-new, unscripted Friday night. In the 8-9 p.m. hour, the network got decent results from Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader? (55th place, 5 million), which emerged as the top-rated show among 18- to 49-year-olds in its time-slot premiere.

Fox also had success Monday with the series premiere of K-Ville, the new New Orleans cop show starring Hustle & Flow's Anthony Anderson. It averaged an estimated 9 million viewers and claimed the night's demo crown.

On the further upside for Fox, K-Ville, the network noted, "showed impressive growth over its lead-in." On the further downside, K-Ville's lead-in was Prison Break.

Evil Dick Wins 'Big Brother 8' Handily

(CBS) STUDIO CITY, Calif. Dick Donato, nicknamed Evil (or if you prefer his spelling, Evel) by his housemates on "Big Brother 8", won the $500,000 prize Tuesday night for out-lasting, out-smarting and out-playing his competition.

In the end, it was between Dick and his once-estranged daughter Daniele as the two finalists for "Big Brother 8".

Before the vote, both said that whatever the outcome, they were both winners. Daniele hadn't talked to her dad for nearly two years, but after being literally locked together 24-7 for 81 days, the two forged a bond that took them to the final two.

As Dick pointed out on the prime time finale, "No team has ever come in one and two in this game."

The final tally: Dick bested his daughter by a score of 5-2. The seven member jury handed Dick the victory although at times some of the jury said it could have gone either way.

For her part, Jen who made no secret of loathing both Donatos (and the feeling couldn't be more mutual) said she "had" to vote for one of them, "although I would have preferred to have not voted at all."

We talked to all 14 houseguests after the final results were announced during a live show at CBS.

Stage 18, aka the Big Brother house, is a hop, skip and jump from our new broadcast studios, so if the Web producers have a particular affinity (translation: obsession) with the show we are to be forgiven.

We came away with a few shocks (besides liking some of the cast we didn't expect to like as much -- Dick is a complete crack up and a lot nicer than he ever appeared on TV) was finding out the backyard grass is plastic. As several housemates quipped, it is a perfect metaphor for the show. Also, the backyard, which looks pretty cavernous on TV is pretty tiny... you could walk the whole thing in 14 seconds.

We asked all the houseguests all the questions America was dying to get the answers to: What was Dick's strategy to win? Did Jessica really fall for Eric? Was Nick more than just smitten with Daniele and vice versa? Will she move to Minnesota? Is Mike really a painter? Did Dick really need a bodyguard at the after party? How close to hitting Dick did Jameka really get? Will Amber stop crying...ever? And if all those discussions about Eric's, uh, uhm, equipment (yeah, that's a tasteful word!) ever got on his nerves?

Got a music collection with hundreds of poorly labeled mp3 files? Like having complete information about your music files - album, performer, genre, lyrics, year of release, and so on? Hate editing tags manually? I thinke you should get a mp3 tag editor.

ManiacTools mp3Tag 5 is a tag processor for MP3, WMA, OGG, APE, AAC, WAV, FLAC, WavPack WV, Musepack MPC/MPP/MP+ and Apple iPod MP4/M4a files with great features, like an automated search for lyrics and pictures (album covers). Other important program features are the Drag&Drop technology and is fully compatible with Windows Media Player 10 and iTunes 6. It does not require any special skills and has received over a dozen awards, including prestigious My Music Tools Editor's Pick. The program is translated into all major European languages.

The new version of the program is extremely fast, very stable, and completely bug-free and is incredibly easy to use. Download ManiacTools mp3Tag 5 now and take it for a free 30 day test-run! John Hinson - "A Still Moment", perfect piano music

I have listened to John Hinson - "A Still Moment" all day, and it’s so beautiful, touching and soothing, which really made me calm down, and just enjoyed in the pure piano music.

When you get on his website: JohnHinson.com, you will hear the music ” Circles”, first song of his CD "A Still Moment", which is also my favorite. You can also listen to all music of “A Still Moment" at his website.

I think it’s perfect to listen to "A Still Moment" during bedtime, traveling time or writing time, which makes your ideas feel free to flow. It’s also a very good gift for kids, friends or parents. You can buy it online or iTunes just $9. But I am abroad, if I can buy it by Paypal, I’ll definitely buy it.

Ok, it’s time to know the man plays the piano, John Hinson, a man with 3 kids, and you can feel this kind of family love in his pleasant piano music from time to time.

Growing up on a farm in Skagit Valley, Washington, he began studying piano at age 5 and continued to study classical, classical composition, and improvisation through high school and into college.

Actually he was born in a pianist family of generations. His favorite possession is sheet music passed down through the family and biggest motivation for pursuing music is to keep the family tradition rolling.

To my surprise, he also had lots of day jobs, - ski patroller, roofing inspector, reporting analyst, web guy. But over the course of his "career" he has managed to complete 2 CD's with the third due for release October 1st, 2007.

Rihanna, Timberlake, big winners at MTV Video Music Awards

Teenage R&B star Rihanna and pop sensation Justin Timberlake were the big winners at the MTV Video Music Awards Sunday, in a star-studded evening that saw Britney Spears make her stage comeback.

Rihanna picked up the most-sought-after Video of the Year award and Monster Single of the Year for her "Umbrella," notably beating R&B starlet Beyonce, Timberlake, rapper Kanye West, British soul singer Amy Winehouse.

"Wow. Video of the Year. This was definitely the most important one for me of the night ... the most unexpected for me," Rihanna said, accepting the top Moonman, as the astronaut-themed statuettes are known.

Timberlake, whose "What Goes Around ... Comes Around" reached number one in the US charts earlier this year, picked up the Male Artist of the Year award.

"It's just exciting to see a new generation of artists really doing it and doing it well," he said. "I think music is in a great place right now because we're all doing what we want to do. So thank you for this award MTV."

Despite not even being nominated for an award, all eyes had been on Britney Spears ahead of the 24th annual MTV Video Music Awards, being held this year at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas.

The pop princess looked visibly out of shape as she opened the evening, appearing on stage at a major event for the first time in three years, since when she has had two children and gone through a string of personal problems.

The pop diva marked her comeback with "Gimme More" from her upcoming fifth album, set for release in November.

Opening with the line "It's Britney, Bitch," Spears performed in a dark sequined bikini and below the knee black boots and ended her performance perhaps appropriately with the lyric: "I just want more."

Other notable appearances of the evening were a risque introduction by comedian Sarah Silverman and performances by Alicia Keys, Chris Brown, Foo Fighters, Timberlake and Kanye West.

Underground Chicago foursome Fall Out Boy picked up the Best Group Award, as expected, beating alternative metal fivesome Linkin Park, modern rockers Maroon 5, indie/hip-hop band Gym Class Heroes and Detroit rock duo The White Stripes.

"We know that a lot of people tune into these awards to see who's wearing underwear, who's not, who's going to be a train wreck, but we want to thank all the people who are real fans of music out there," the band's Pete Wentz said.

British newcomer Amy Winehouse had been tipped for the Best New Artist Award, but lost out to New York crossover band Gym Class Heroes.

Winehouse, most recently in the news for canceling a string of US and European gigs for health reasons as she reportedly tries to beat a serious drink and drug problem, was up for three gongs but failed to score.

She had been due to perform on Sunday but canceled last month.

It was also a disappointing night for Beyonce, who was nominated for seven awards but had to settle with Most Earthshattering Collaboration, which she shared with Colombian-born pop singer Shakira.

Black Eyed Peas vocalist Fergie picked up the Female Artist of the Year but failed to show up to accept the award.

The organizers had shaken up this year's ceremony with a number of new awards, hoping to win back viewers after seeing numbers slump in recent years.

Perhaps the most unusual new award was the Quadruple Threat of the Year Award, in recognition of artists' work off stage. The award went to Timberlake, who has a number of restaurants and a clothing line.

Started in 1984, the MTV awards were originally launched to challenge the more traditional Grammy awards.

Among the more controversial episodes during that time, Madonna kissed Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera live on stage during the 2003 show.

`High School Musical' star Vanessa Hudgens' nude photo online

Vanessa Hudgens' representative has confirmed that a nude photo circulating on the Internet is indeed the 18-year-old star of Disney Channel's wildly popular "High School Musical" movies.

"This was a photo which was taken privately," said Jill Fritzo, Hudgens' publicist, on Friday. "It is a personal matter and it is unfortunate that this has become public."

The photo shows the 18-year-old actress standing naked in what appears to be a bathroom, with a red shower curtain behind her.

The Disney Channel (part of the Walt Disney Co.) denied a published report that Hudgens will be dropped from the upcoming feature film "High School Musical 3." That movie is in development and negotiations with the stars are incomplete.

Disney had no further comment about the pictures.

Hudgens portrayed Gabriella, the brainy love interest of Zac Efron's basketball star in the first two "High School Musical" made-for-cable movies. The two are said to be dating in real life.

"High School Musical 2" attracted more than 17 million viewers for its Disney Channel premiere in August, the most-watched television program of the summer.

MTV goes both ways with new dating show

Bisexual hook-up show will feature 16 straight men, 16 lesbians vying for MySpace star Tila Tequila's heart.

The nonstop limbo contest that is reality television has a new leader, as MTV has once again lowered the bar with its latest project. According to TVWeek.com, the one-time music television has greenlighted a new dating show in the style of The Bachelorette with a twist--this young lady bats from both sides of the plate, so to speak.

In the 10-episode show, contestants will try to win the heart (and more) of MySpace pseudo-lebrity Tila Tequila (real name Tila Nguyen), who is openly bisexual. The pint-sized Vietnamese model will have 16 straight men and 16 lesbians to choose from, and, in the tried-and-true vein of other reality dating shows, will eliminate the competition down each week.

A Shot at Love With Tila Tequila is scheduled to premiere on MTV on October 9. According to TVWeek.com, Ms. Tequila and the contestants will move into a mansion and live together where the sure-to-be-shocking antics will be recorded on camera. Each episode "will culminate in a dramatic ceremony unlike anything you've ever seen before."

Tila Tequila is most famous for having the most friends on her MySpace profile, which as of press time stood at over 2,000,000. She has modeled for several magazines, including Playboy and has found a home in the import tuner racing scene. She was also host of Fuse TV's own entrant in the reality limbo contest, Pants-Off Dance-Off and recently had a guest spot on The War at Home.

'Hospital' Actress Annie Wersching joins '24'

The latest addition to the bulging cast of "24" is "General Hospital" co-star Annie Wersching.

Wersching will play Renee Walker, an FBI agent with an adversarial relationship to never-wrong action hero Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland).

It's reported to be a regular gig, making her one of the season's newest female leads.

After two delays already this summer, the seventh season of "24" is set to begin production next week, still on target for a Jan. 2008 premiere. In addition to Wersching, other fresh faces on "24" next year will include Cherry Jones, Janeane Garofalo, Colm Feore, John Billingsley and Jeffrey Nordling.

The "24" producers didn't have to look far for Wersching, who spent this past development season on FOX's drama pilot "Company Man," which boasted a creative team led by "24" vets David Ehrman, Robert Cochran, Howard Gordon and Joel Surnow.

Before she appears on "24," Wersching will already have appeared this season on NBC's new drama "Journeyman." Amelia Joffe on "General Hospital," Wersching has also done TV stints on shows including "Boston Legal," "Cold Case" and "Angel."

'Apprentice' Winner Weds 'E!'s News' Host

Bill Rancic, Giuliana DePandi say 'I do' in Italian and English

"The Apprentice" winner Bill Rancic, who first applied to be on "The Bachelor," isn't one anymore.

The reality show star and his fiancee, "E! News" anchor Giuliana DePandi, tied the knot in Italy this past weekend, reports People

The traditional Catholic ceremony was held on the island of Capri on Saturday, Sept. 1. The wedding was conducted in both Italian and English.

DePandi, 32, wore a white, strapless and beaded Monique Lhuillier gown, while Rancic, 36, wore a black tux. Performing maid of honor duties was DePandi's sister Monica, and Rancic's "honorary" best man was his late father.

Rancic's boss, Donald Trump, could not attend the wedding due to scheduling conflicts.

The couple first met when DePandi interviewed him as the first season's "Apprentice" winner, but it wasn't until February 2006 when she interviewed him again and discovered that he was still single. Behind the scenes, Rancic asked her out on their first date. The pair became engaged in December after Rancic pulled off an elaborate proposal that involved a helipad, deep-dish pizza, rose petals and champagne.

Rancic has been with the Trump Organization since his first-season win and appears frequently on the show to advise the Donald. He's the author of two books, "You're Hired" and "Beyond the Lemonade Stand."

DePandi is an anchor for "E! News Live" and often co-hosts red carpet events with Ryan Seacrest. She also wrote a book, "Think Like a Guy: How to Get a Guy by Thinking Like One."

The newlyweds will hold off on the honeymoon for now due to the demands of their respective jobs. DePandi will cover the Emmys on Sept. 16, while Rancic will host IVillage's "In the Loop."

CBS' 'Big Bang Theory' Produces 'Roseanne' Reunion

Married on "Roseanne," Sara Gilbert and Johnny Galecki are set to reteam on his new CBS comedy.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Gilbert will do a multi-episode arc on CBS' "Big Bang Theory," returning to the Monday, 8:30 p.m. slot where she was most recently seen as a recurring guest star on "The Class."

"Big Bang Theory" focuses on a pair of physicists (Galecki and Jim Parsons) who know an awful lot about science, but very little about the normal world until a babe (Kaley Cuoco) moves into the apartment across the hall. Gilbert will play a more realistic love interest for Galecki's character, a fellow physicist.

CBS' Monday comedies have gotten a decent amount of press in recent weeks for entertaining on-screen reunions. "Rules of Engagement," for example, will team alleged former couple David Spade and Heather Locklear, while "Seinfeld" vets Jason Alexander and Julia Louis-Dreyfus on "The New Adventures of Old Christine."

Gilbert picked up a pair of Emmy nominations for her long run as Darlene on "Rosanne." She didn't pick up any nominations for her most recent regular series gig as one of the stars of The WB's "Twins." She's also recurred on "E.R." and "24."

'Doctor Who' will take a break in 2009

The Tardis is going into the shop for a while after next year, and there's no certainty about who'll be driving it after that.

The BBC announced Monday that "Doctor Who" will take a break between its fourth and fifth seasons, meaning that aside from a few specials, there will be no regular episodes in 2009. It's also not clear, according to multiple reports in the British media, if star David Tennant will return for the show's fifth season in 2010.

A BBC spokesperson declined comment on Tennant's status for the fifth season. The show's fourth season is in production now and is scheduled to premiere in the U.K. in 2008. "Doctor Who" airs on both the Sci Fi Channel and BBC America in this country.

Tennant is reportedly in line to play Hamlet for Britain's Royal Shakespeare Company in the summer and fall of 2008, which would preclude him doing a full season of "Doctor Who" for 2009. The BBC is planning to produce three specials featuring Tennant as the Time Lord to air in '09.

If Tennant were to exit the series after that, it would follow a long "Doctor Who" tradition of periodically casting a new actor in the lead role. Tennant is the second Doctor in the new incarnation of the show, following Christopher Eccleston, and the 10th person to play him over the series' long history.

Memoirs of a Sojourner

I must say David Woon is a nice guy, because he wants to share his thoughts of life by several blogs, not just write, but promote them as well. I have introduced his two blogs: Family Matters and Just a Thought. And today I want to talk about his third blog: Memoirs of a Sojourner.

As he said, Memoirs of a Sojourner is the story of his faith journey during his short sojourn on earth. It is his hope that through the sharing of his struggles, temptations, frustrations, joys and triumphs in living out his faith, you would gain some insights into your own sojourn.

My advices to Memoirs of a Sojourner

1. The main page is too long, maybe 10 posts is enough.
2. Too many colors of words.
3. Maybe you should consider to insert some picture to your post.

Besides, I wish you can publish your thoughts to real book soon.

Grey's Anatomy star Kate Walsh officially married

Life doesn't always have to imitate art: Kate Walsh has officially bagged her McDreamy.

The Grey's Anatomy cum Private Practice star has tied the knot with her fiancé of just four months, movie executive Alex Young, in a sunset ceremony at California's Ojai Presbyterian Church in the resort town just north of Los Angeles, People reports.

The 39-year-old bride donned a custom made gown from go-to celeb wedding dresser Monique Lhuillier for her trip down the aisle. The 36-year-old 20th Century Fox exec wore the requisite penguin suit.

The duo swapped vows in front of slightly more than 100 guests, among them Walsh's former Grey's Anatomy costars Sara Ramirez, Katherine Heigl and Chandra Wilson. Show creator Shonda Rhimes was also present for the ceremony, which kicked off with a gospel choir rendition of Rascal Flatts' hit "Bless the Broken Road," as was Kate Beckinsale and her hubby, director Len Wiseman.

According to the magazine, Walsh's big day is already in danger of turning into a big night as well at the nearby Ojai Valley Inn & Spa resort. The nuptial madness is scheduled to continue with a reception and post-wedding sit-down dinner at the inn's Spanish-style estate, Casa Elar. The newlyweds are also expected to host a post-wedding brunch for their guests on Sunday morning.

It's the first marriage for both, and while the fairy tale ending was smoothly executed, the run up to the union wasn't totally bump-free.

"I had a fitting a few days ago and who knew someone could get that hysterical about a bra!" Walsh told Entertainment Tonight last week of her brief flirtation with being a bridezilla. "The sad part was there was a mirror there, so I had to see my face turn to stone, snakes coming out of my hair. It was bad. I can't believe I had a meltdown over a bra!"

Still, the new bride said, "I'm living a very good dream."

Walsh and Young announced their betrothal last May—he popped the question during a trip for two to San Francisco—just one day after ABC announced it had picked up her spinoff for the fall season. Walsh confirmed the engagement after being unable to hide the massive sparkler on her finger, a Neil Lane Jubilee-cut diamond.

The duo were first spotted together this spring and went public at a Apr. 26 Los Angeles fundraiser for Barack Obama. It's unclear how the camera-ready twosome first met, though Young is a close friend of Walsh's boss, ABC president Steve McPherson.

It's also unclear whether the happy couple is planning on honeymooning in the immediate future, though both will need to hightail it back to the daily grind sooner or later. Private Practice, serving with high hopes as ABC's new Wednesday night anchor, premieres Sept. 26. (E! Online)

Chris Bloczynski dot Com

Chris Bloczynski dot Com is a blog about lifestyle and entrepreneurship. It's targeted towards business owners and bloggers, with an emphasis on principles such as attitude, mentorship, removing distractions, and tactics for marketing and growth.

The author Chris, whom you've probably gathered from the title on the website, is a manager for a small hotel by day, and an entrepreneur and webmaster by "rest of the day." He plans one day to work on his own terms, managing and owning a small portfolio of websites and various other projects.

When he has built his business strongly enough, he'll leave the hotel industry behind him and work from home or on the road as his travel. The blog will feature articles that describe the steps he is taking towards self-employment, as well as related articles of interest from the mentors that he has chosen, and related offers targeted towards interested consumers.

As he mentioned, Yaro Starak, who made $ 6549.52 in one month from his blog is his mentor, but I think John Chow maybe more qualified, who made $17000 plus at August, and will make more than $25000 at September.

Anyway, ChrisBloczynski.Com is an excellent blog for business owners and bloggers. You can learn lots of tips and advices on it.

David Woon, Just a Thought

David Woon is a nice guy in Singapore, last time I introduced his nice family blog: Family Matters. Then I also offer my two advices to him: 1. Use a domain. 2. Use better blog software or BSP.

It seems that he did use a domain, although I don't know when he began to use the domain, before or after my advice. But it’s a big step for him, so today I want to introduce this blog: "Just a Thought!"

Just a Thought is a blog contains David Woon’s short reflections about Life in general which he hope would, in one way or another, serve as a source of inspiration for you or trigger off some thoughts of your own in the contemplation of the mystery that is Life. And he hopes you would also share these thoughts here so that we can all learn and grow together.

Maybe David Woon has ambition to make a blog network to express his thoughts and ideas, so he want to promote his several blogs, but I think the content is really good, so it’s good for him and for the readers. His posts like "How to spend money", "Key Romantic Factors "really impress me. David Woon, well done!

NBC Shows Disappearing from iTunes

Network, Apple can't agree on pricing

Fans of "Heroes" or "The Office" will have one fewer catching-up option if they miss an episode of either show this season.

Apple will no longer offer new episodes of NBC shows on its iTunes service when the 2007-08 season starts after failing to reach an agreement with NBC over pricing. The network's iTunes contract expires in December, but since that falls in the middle of the TV season, Apple opted to stop offering new episodes when the season starts in a few weeks.

Episodes of NBC shows already on the download service will be available until the contract runs out. NBC had three of the top 10 shows on iTunes last season and was responsible for 30 percent of TV downloads from the service.

"We are disappointed to see NBC leave iTunes because we would not agree to their dramatic price increase," Eddy Cue, Apple's vice president of iTunes, says in a statement. "We hope they will change their minds."

According to Apple, it declined to pay "more than double the wholesale price" per episode of NBC shows, which it said would have increased the download fee by $3, from $1.99 to $4.99. NBC, meanwhile, has been angling for the right to package some of its titles for somewhat higher prices, The New York Times reports.

The other broadcast networks, along with several dozen cable channels, still have deals with iTunes.
